Jaggery, the way it was made for generations.
Pure • Raw • Unrefined
Gud4U is good for you: a conscious food brand, and jaggery is where we begin. For five years
we’ve worked alongside farmers to grow organic sugarcane on chemical-free soil. Cane is pressed
within hours, slow-boiled in iron pans, and hand-moulded.
No chemicals, no sulphur, no shortcuts
— just the field, the fire, and patience.

sulphur-free
of jaggery wisdom
One continuous traditional process.
Sweet cane is pressed fresh, collected as juice, reduced in iron pans, and poured into moulds.
From our farms to your family.
Three things we don’t cut corners on.
Sugarcane, method, and the kitchen. Get those right, and the jaggery looks after itself.
Farmer-grown sugarcane
A community of farmers, five years in the making. Same soil, same growers, no chemicals — ever.
Traditional method
The same time-tested techniques village kitchens have used for generations. No sulphur, no chemical clarifier — nothing the recipe didn’t call for.
Slow-boiled in iron pans
Open-fire kadhai, the way village kitchens have done it for generations. Patience is the only added ingredient.
How we clarify our jaggery without a single chemical.
Where most modern jaggery makers reach for sulphur or synthetic flocculants, we reach for the okra plant. Its stem and flower release a natural mucilage that lifts impurities cleanly to the surface — the same method our grandmothers used in village kitchens.
- Okra (bhindi) stem & flower pulp — a natural mucilage that traps impurities as the syrup boils.
- Plant-based clarifiers only — no phosphoric acid, no synthetic flocculants, no shortcuts of any kind.
- Zero sulphur, zero synthetic residues — what enters the kadhai is exactly what leaves it.
- Retains all minerals and vitamins — iron, magnesium, potassium and trace minerals stay in the jaggery instead of being stripped out.
- Rich, natural dark-brown colour — the colour of the field. No bleaching, no whitening, no cosmetic tricks.

Pre-Book My BatchCommon questions about organic jaggery.
What people ask before they place their first order with Gud4U Organicks.
What is organic jaggery and how is it different from regular jaggery?
Organic jaggery is made from sugarcane grown without synthetic fertilisers, pesticides or chemicals. At Gud4U Organicks the cane comes from a farmer community we have built over five years on chemical-free soil. The juice is gently strained, clarified by traditional natural methods, and slow-boiled in iron pans — never bleached and never treated with sulphur.
Is Gud4U Organicks jaggery free from sulphur and chemicals?
Yes. Gud4U Organicks jaggery is 100% sulphur-free and chemical-free. We do not use bleach, phosphoric acid, or any synthetic clarifier at any stage of the process.
Where is Gud4U Organicks jaggery made?
Our registered office is in Thane, Maharashtra, and our kitchen and factory are in Omerga, Dharashiv district, Maharashtra. Sugarcane is grown by partner farmers in the surrounding region.
What products does Gud4U Organicks offer?
One jaggery, two ranges. Natural: block (400 g to 20 kg), powder (400 g, 1 kg), 5 g chocolate coins, 4 g and 7 g cubes (50 g and 150 g packs) and liquid jaggery (250 ml, 1 litre). Flavoured: Masala Chai, Elaichi, Saunf, Saunth, Dal Chini and Kali Miri, each as a block and as cubes.
Is jaggery a healthier alternative to refined sugar?
Pure unrefined jaggery retains natural minerals such as iron, magnesium and potassium that are stripped out of refined white sugar. Slow-boiling in iron pans, as we do at Gud4U Organicks, adds a small amount of dietary iron. It should still be used in moderation, like any other sweetener.
